Summary: Stocks rebounded, gold and bonds fell, and the US dollar ended the week unchanged.

After dropping 5.3% in the previous three weeks, large-cap stocks (SPY) rebounded this week by 2.6% due to better-than-expected earnings in the technology sector. The equal-weight S&P 500 ETF (RSP) finished the week up 1.6%. International stocks (VEU) added 2.5%.

The TLT ETF trimmed weekly losses to 1% due to a rebound on Friday following the release of economic data, which showed no surprises on the inflation front. The DBC ETF ended the week up 0.9% due to gains in the energy and grain markets. Gold (GLD) fell 2% but was off weekly lows. The US dollar (UUP) finished the week unchanged.
